pleased to meet you.
Hello, my name is Meg LeBarron. I currently live in upstate South Carolina, working as an Intern Architect for McMillan Pazdan Smith Architecture. I work in the Greenville office of the firm in the Hospitality, Food Service, & Retail studio. I primarily produce full service construction document sets for the national breakfast chain, First Watch. I have worked on drawing sets for brands including Carrabba’s Italian grill, Outback Steakhouse, Culver’s, Haverty’s Furniture, and more. I previously spent time in the Charleston office of the firm helping out in the Senior Living studio.
I received my bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture & Design at Queens University of Charlotte. My passions largely stem from human connection and interaction, which is partly why I paired my degree with a minor in psychology.
The way that 90% of an average individual’s day is spent indoors is both terrifying and invigorating. With such a vast impact, designing interior spaces becomes more of a social responsibility than a career path. Who are you in spaces designed for solitude? Who are you in spaces built to network you, socialize you, or work you? Are you truly the same person in every interior? How can a space make you comfortable doing something that causes you discomfort? These are some of the many questions that drive me to create.
My expertise lies in hand drawing, drafting both physical and digital, and coordinating construction documents/details. I would love to answer any questions you may have. Please feel free to reach out to me through the link below. I hope to be project partners soon enough.
